Finding a House in this Market is... HARD....
WHO: Hatsu, and YOU
WHAT: Hatsu's carving his room outta the ice! ...Probably.
WHEN: ONE DAY A CALENDAR...WILL EXIST.
WHERE: Sealeo Inn
WARNINGS: Noneeeeexcept for Hatsu's mild cursing. Bad tree.
This way mister, end of the hall is over here!
[Finding the Inn in Illumina wasn't especially difficult. Outside, it was an enormous building carved right from the ice, with strings of lights moving directly up to it. Inside, it was also rather simple. There was a dining hall, a number of rooms available for rent, an office...
...And plenty of space for more, or so he was told. Sealeo had sent their daughter as guide when Hatsu came in, and he was now following a rather eager little one that was literally rolling around with a torch in her mouth.]
Ahaha...you might want to calm down kid, that fire is kind of...
Yeah make sure you don't touch it mister, you're grass type!
Gr- [There were types?! Before he can so much as ask he's shown a wall, the torch somehow slipped into a hook at the side.]
Here you are mister! Just carve yourself a room and it's all yours!
Er...carve..?
Yep! Good luck~!
AUHHHeY HEY WAIT! [Hatsu's shouts fall on deaf ears-or rather, no ears at all, as the spheal has long since rolled off back down the hall by the time the phantump can start protesting. In her absence, he's left turning back to sigh at the wall.] ...Right...let's get started I guess...
[..........................
....About a few hours later, cursing can be heard from the hall.]
COME ON BARELY A CHIP!?
[Along with the sounds of something hitting the ice.] AUUGH I'm giving it everything I've got just. CRACK. BREAK. SOMETHING, I need a room!
[....]
Come onnnnnnn...
[.....]
OOOOHhhhh this would be SO much easier with my guns..!
[This is not going very well, as one can see.]

I've already "seen" him once. Seeing him and having him return are two different things.

Whatever brought us here obviously knows how to rip apart the timestream after all..!
no subject
[Let him pretend it might be a dream instead of an actual thing that's happening for a few moments, at least.]
no subject
But as far as my memory says, you never left.
no subject
You were talking just now like you know something about timelines. [Maybe it's done something to time, but he wouldn't know, not having experience in that area.]

When I knew you were there, you weren't exactly hiding-unless you forgot how much of a 'keen eye' I had around then, [he adds, clearly intending for that to mean 'none'.]
no subject
[Having forgotten what he was fighting for at least once before this, he knows that more than most people. And they haven't exactly been together for all of the Friendship Cup, either.]

[They've only been here for less than a day so far, after all.]
no subject
But I definitely wouldn't forget a bunch of raid raptors carrying everyone to the stadium...
no subject
Good for you. That still doesn't account for lost time and separation, even assuming you are remembering right.
no subject
Even if the time hasn't passed 'now', if it was going to pass at all, then you'd have to go missing for a lot longer than the time between those points.
[Did any of that make a lick of sense.]
no subject
There's no clear reason we're here. So there's little point making assumptions about how much longer than a day we're going to be in this place.
no subject
But fine, if you want to wait around stressing out for no reason, I'll just get back to work here. [They'll see in a week, after all. Anyway, he'll be clearing those plants out now...] I don't know how long we'll be around.
What I do know is we're not alone, and we're from all stretches of time.
...That's a good sign of something that can pick and choose without causing ripples.
no subject
I'm not "stressed". It takes a lot more than something this pathetically stupid to stress me out. [He's been on the battlefield far too much for that.]
And what makes you think it's "something", rather than multiple things or this place itself drawing us here? [With what he's seen since the start of the war, he'd believe anything at this point when it comes to interdimensional ridiculousness.]
no subject
And come on, you think multiple sources are gonna be that consistent on the 'drag someone in, make them a 'pokemon' thing?
no subject
That depends on how organised they are. It's far too early to rule anything out.
no subject
[Oh man but this is COZY...sinking onto a pile of vines never felt so good.]
no subject
And despite that, his first instinct is to hop towards the door.]
Don't waste words.
no subject
[And ohhh..?]
If you need my help at least, I'm right here.
no subject
Why would I need your help? [Given he's just about to hop out the door, the logical assumption to make would be that he's not looking for anyone's help.]
