Today I don't feel like doing anything. I just wanna lay in my bed.
WHO: En Yufuin and everyone
WHAT: A furry icicle
WHEN: Day 1
WHERE: Just outside the city
WARNINGS: One lazy asshole discovering the ability Truant
En is very much aware that something is wrong, especially when he wakes up to chilly winds and expanse of white ice instead of white walls and a warm bed, but he's... not exactly sure what to do with this knowledge. Usually, his response to getting kidnapped is screaming and yelling, as most sane people do, but today his body just refuses to move. It's not that it's unusual for him to loaf around, it's just unusual that he's not reacting to something completely different.
He lays on the ice for maybe about ten minutes- during which he only heard his heart beat once per those minutes... was he dead?- before he feels something bubbling in his gut. It's slow to process, but the brown, fuzzy creature sits up and looks at his paws and reflection in the ice. His loveracet was still there... but everything else...
HAGGHHYYYYHHHAAAAAAAAAHHHHH! WHAT IS THIS?
. . . Ah. There it is.

...
...Or she can focus on that scream.
Instinct tells her to wait-to stay put and wait for further sound, for anything that could tell her what's going on.
But instinct means that things grow silent-until replaced by the soft, slow crunch of ice beneath her feet, as she comes closer...closer...
...
...Is that a sloth she sees around this icy rock???]

...
Man who is this loser?]
What the hell? What the hell? I'm a sloth? In an Arctic wasteland? What is this? What is this shit? ARGHHHH!

I am dying. I am dying, and these are my low-oxygen induced hallucinations.
Second:
That is a sloth.
A talking sloth.
The third, and more coherent and logical one realizes something else however-
She doesn't look human herself.
Which makes a fair chance that this other one should be human under ordinary circumstances.
That in mind, she steps out once the flailing stops-hopefully he'll be 'loafing around' while she stands there.]
Hey.
Are you alright?
[Answer: NO, but it's good to ask.]
no subject
What?
[Now that he's loafing around, he can take in the small creature that's been staring at him for the last couple of minutes and...
Um...]
What?
. . . I'm only a sloth, but ma'am, your head is open and drooling out the back. Are YOU okay?
no subject
It's Amanda's turn to flinch and stiffen, locking in place for a good few seconds before responding.
Rudely.] I asked you first-I'm not the one who was rolling around in a panic after all. Do you have any idea how we got here?
[Because 'where' here is, is probably a lost cause.]
no subject
... I'm fine... but I'm a sloth.
[He stares at his paws and then his bracelet with the blue love-heart and wings on it, like it caused him some personal offence.]
A sloth.
. . .
Dunno... could have been a monster that sent us to this place while we slept, but I've never seen a monster that can morph people AND warp them before.
no subject
I think I got the fact that you're a sloth, [she cuts in, frowning.
And...] 'Monster'? Some sort of alien lifeform you mean?
no subject
[En gives a sigh.]
It's my guess though. It could be some nonsense completely unrelated.
no subject
The mawile crosses her arms though, frowning.] Whether it's related or not, that doesn't tell us what we're doing here-or what did this.
Did the aliens you encountered endanger lives with their mutations? [Best assumption-yes. But again! Safe to double check on these things, especially since...] If they did, then we might have an entirely bigger matter to worry about.
no subject
[But hey, spectualations and talks about life is what he does best]
Oh? Eh... depends. Some of them were pretty bad like the Kotatsu monster: It caused a lot of trouble by turning strong friendships or loves into hatred equivalent to the relationship before hand. Others were just... eh. Weird. The melon monster just bored people with its riddles that you could look up the answer on the internet. That was just a kind of pitiful monster, honestly. It's hit or miss whether or not it was a threat.

............................................................]
Are you screwing with me here?!
no subject
. . .
Honestly, I'm really not. I couldn't make this junk up if I tried.

[He shudders, both from the cold and the memory. Does this look like the face of a jokester, Ripley?]
no subject
We don't have time to argue about this kind of thing-can you move?
[An honest and very worrying question.]
no subject
I can't stand up... I can kinda... belly crawl but that's it.
[His legs are strong, they just don't wanna stand]
no subject
[For someone so cold, she doesn't seem to be doing too bad...]
no subject
[He's not even sarcastic about it. You're sparing him walking. The Slakoth looks at the Mawile's head and gives a lazy wave.] Sup.
no subject
You're only getting this ride because I know you've having troubles moving, [Is her answer.
THERE WILL BE NO 'SUP' HERE.]
no subject
I understand. Hopefully I'll figure out how to walk again. Crawling on the ice isn't in my long term plans.
